Industrial village: Industry meets agriculture
After the renovation of Ummendorf Castle by 2024, thanks in part to funding from the ERDF programme, the basis for modernizing the exhibition space was in place.
Within the project, the Börde Museum seized this opportunity to raise the profile of cultural heritage in Saxony-Anhalt. An exhibition tailored to the building and subject matter was created. In recent years, analyses of the old exhibitions were initially carried out (e.g. SWOT analyses) and (non-)visitor surveys were also conducted.
Based on these evaluations, an updated utilization concept and a project design for a new permanent exhibition were developed. The design office museeon GbR was also involved in the design alongside the staff of the Börde Museum.
